The Brief
The Brief was to provide high quality, flexible, structured cabling
systems to 1500 Doctors Surgeries throughout the United Kingdom.
It was essential that all work was carried out without interfering
with the normal running of the individual surgeries.
To this end Connectus scheduled and implemented a roll out solution
for Torex. This entailed booking appointments with the doctors
surgery's, organising the labour and materials to arrive on the
pre-designated date and of course carrying out the various installations.
Out of the 400 Surgery's completed so far over 99% have been
completed on time with no complications.
A very large percentage of these installations took place while
the
surgeries were open and busy!
This project is still ongoing.

This ongoing solution has so far consisted of :
- Over 100km of Category 5 UTP 4 pair solid cable
- 2500 Category 5E points wired

Connectus installs a Category 5E structured cabling system ~
Net 5E.
Net 5E is one of the most popular Category 5E structured cabling
systems. It is constantly being developed and all Net 5E Circuitry
is tested to comply with ISO 11801 Cat 5E standards and exceeds
performance requirements for Class D networks.
